"The Curve" won the final 2 prestigious categories revealed at the eagerly anticipated Building Better Healthcare Awards 2016.

In the stunning surroundings of The Brewery in London, Gilling Dod won 2 of a possible 3 awards chosen by the judges from across all categories.

The Curve was singled out for praise by Patient Choice Head Judge, Patricia Wilkie, for the interior design, which she said "is helping to create a less-institutional feel for mental health services".  Describing it as 'first-class' she praised the 'vibrant & stimulating' central hub within the Recovery Academy.

 Patient's Choice Award - Winner

It reflects the recovery principles in all aspects of its culture & operation. The physical environment & language portrays messages of hope, empowerment, possibility and aspirations.

~ Patricia Wilkie, Patient's Choice Head Judge BBH 2016

 Clinicians Choice Award - Winner

This is an impressive first-class mental health facility providing an extremely valuable resource for patients and hospital staff. It is also a welcoming & outstanding first impression for the hospital and it is good to see staff education facilities mixed with patient facilities on the same well-designed site
