Cafe Design & Fit-Out
What We Did
Gilling Dod Interiors were appointed to deliver Interior Design and Project Leader services for a new cafe within the Hope Building at Salford Royal Hospital.
We shared a vision with the Client to create a vibrant and non-institutional café space for use by patients and visitors within their flagship Hope Building. The café is situated within a concourse of other shops and was competing with the likes of M&S to provide refreshments. It was therefore agreed from the outset that it would need to set the bar high and give the customer more choice.
The Hope Café is a modest but hugely significant project for the Trust as it sets’ the tone for the patient experience in its new landmark building. A clear illustration to the value of Interior Design in redefining the hospital settings as non-institutional and up lifting environments for patients and staff. The Trust focus on quality interior design within their healthcare settings mirrors our own core values, and it is this shared goal that has resulted in such a successful and striking scheme.
