Gilling Dod were delighted to hear that the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osbourne confirmed the contribution of £70 million capital funding for the redevelopment of West Cumberland Hospital in his Comprehensive Spending Review. West Cumberland Hospital was one of just three acute hospitals in the country to be granted funding by the Chancellor, along with St Helier and Royal Oldham, which were also described as “priority hospital schemes”.

Gilling Dod are appointed as the Lead Architects for the £90 Million redevelopment of the West Cumberland Hospital which will see the biggest single investment into Healthcare for West Cumbria in over half a century.
