gilling dod 3D design
Gilling Dod use 3D graphics throughout the design process. At the conceptual stage we use 'Sketch Up' to provide 3D block models of proposals. When a project is being worked up into detailed construction drawings, we design the building in full 3D with Architectural Desktop software, including 3D furniture layouts.
This approach allows us to produce 3D images within rooms, together with reliable room elevations of all walls.
3D Architectural Renderings
Computer generated renderings of architectural drawings can more look realistic than traditional forms like watercolour, as advances in technology allow for lighting and shadow effects. 3D renderings also provide the ability to view the site from several angles, and combined with photography can convey an accurate depiction of the development within its true environment
