Beechcroft, New Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit

The new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit comprises 36 beds at Forster Green Hospital in Belfast which provides bespoke state of the art facilities for Children and Adolescents with Mental health problems. The £10m Scheme is designed with our sister Practice in Northern Ireland, McAdam Design.

The plan is intentionally linear to maximise daylight penetration and views out as well as affording easy access to the external spaces. The design places an emphasis on communal spaces, places of social interaction as well as generating a modern, uplifting and non-institutional environment for young people.
