Gilling Dod were commissioned to carry out the refurbishment of existing offices at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital to provide a new Private Patients Ward. The brief was to create an outstanding health facility which at the same time had the aesthetic of a high quality Hotel or Spa, helping to reflect the ‘private’ nature of the Unit. We were asked to push the boundaries of current Healthcare design, and ensure this facility was unique and known throughout the region for being the very best.
