Established in 1882, Gilling Dod is a practice steeped in the architectural tradition.

Our success is testament to a long history of delivering highly innovative architectural designs which respond to the demands of an ever changing social and political environment. We believe our architects have an ethical obligation to create buildings that will meet the needs of the present but be sympathetic to future generations.

Here at Gilling Dod, we encourage invention and creativity, we undertake extensive research to ensure the optimum designed solutions for our clients; we foster a school of thought that considers issues like functionality, sustainability and the impact that the buildings will have on their environment.

Our network of skilled professionals is situated within two practices in both Liverpool and Chorley. Each office is equipped with identical professional services, adept to deal with all major projects. We have highly qualified design and technical staff, which include building surveyors and interior designers.

All projects are Director lead and we encourage a high level of collaboration with the client and other like-minded professionals throughout the life of the projects.
