The new Surgical Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital is designed to provide a centralised Surgical Unit in one 900m2 facility. This new state of the art centre brings on line a total of 10 state of the art operating theatres with the latest modern technology in one purpose built unit replacing outdated theatre stock which was spread across the hospital site.

The unit provides 10 theatres, outpatient/day case facilities and 94 inpatient beds. The scheme has been designed and co-ordinated with the hospital masterplan, ensuring that links to the existing estate and future phases will be possible across the varying levels that exist on site.
