Extension and alterations to Chorley Education Centre at Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital to provide bespoke undergraduate teaching accommodation.

The new two storey extension is linked by a new entrance and reception area to the existing building and provides new state of the art training facilities. The accommodation includes a library, a clinic skills unit, tutorial rooms, meeting rooms and a pc suite together with staff office accommodation. The associated upgrade of the existing building included alterations to provide a cyber cafe, meeting and seminar rooms.

Low energy lighting was installed throughout and a new ventilation installation incorporating heat recovery in parts of the unit together with associated upgrade of facilities and redecoration successfully linked the old with the new to provide a new fresh working environment.
